Dax hasn’t tolerated feedings very well on our trip and gave his mom and dad a scare, so we canceled our stay in South Dakota and drove straight to Kansas City. Tyson drove 23 hours in a 27 hour time frame (we stayed in close contact with our doctor on our way back home). We got where we needed to be and hoping we have some solutions to help Dax be more comfortable. No worries at this time. I think this was Dax’s way of telling us he’s not much into history and didn’t care to see Mt. Rushmore. He was ready to get back home in his Boppy and Dock-a-Tot. This trip has been one for the books, so many memories made with the our sweet boy and we think he really enjoyed it. Dax saw so many beautiful places, now it’s time for him to be home and get some rest. It’s amazing to see what nature does, Dax seems to be more alert after being exposed to traveling and spending so much time outside. We know we don’t have an entire lifetime to make memories with him, but we’ll remember this trip forever, more vividly than our wedding day.
