Some of our best friends gifted us a photo session once Dax was born. Dax tolerated his outfit long enough for the session and Ozzie thoroughly enjoyed the spotlight. We’ll cherish these photos forever.

We skipped Mt. Rushmore

Dax hasn’t tolerated feedings very well on our trip and gave his mom and dad a scare, so we canceled our stay in South Dakota and drove straight to Kansas City. Yellowstone

Dax has now officially been in 10 states; Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. And he’s experienced extreme weather changes; 90 degree weather in Utah and 30 degree weather in Montana! Bonneville Salt Flats

All we can say is, wow! You can see salt for as far as you can see. Dax could feel the warmth of the sun reflecting off of the salt. And Ozzie was relieved there wasn’t much walking involved at this stop. *No paws were harmed, Ozzie wore Dax’s socks.
